Ham and Cheese Quiche

HAM AND CHEESE QUICHE
1 1/2 cups ham
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese or any other kind of melting cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions or chopped onion
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 eggs
1 tomato, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced or chopped
Heat oven to 400 F/205 C. Grease 9-inch pie plate or square baking dish. Sprinkle ham, cheese and onions in pie plate. Stir Bisquick mix, milk, salt, pepper and eggs until blended. Pour into pie plate. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Garnish with tomato and bell pepper.
Other options you can use instead of ham (use cooked versions): sausage, ground beef or pork, shredded or cubed chicken, Spam, smoked fish, cubed turkey, cubed meatballs, bacon. While Swiss Cheese is lovely, it might be a problem here so you can switch to any other melting cheese, like: Chihuahua, Manchego, Asadero, Gouda.
